Synonyms: 'Ledum tomentosum', 'Rhododendron palustre', 'Rhododendron tomentosum'.
Native to northern Northern Hemisphere.
Herbal plant - it has marvellous expectorant attributes, which work as a natural solution for several respiratory issues of cough, cold, fever, asthma, sore throat, nasal congestion, wheezing and bronchitis; can help with the telltale symptoms of bug bites, it relieves itching and swelling from insect bites, especially when taken at times of exposure; all parts of the plant contain poisonous terpenes that affect the central nervous system, then overdose is strongly undesirable.
