The native range of this species is central Asia to south Siberia and Mongolia. Herbal plant - used intensively in Ayurvedic medicine; all plants from this genus yields essential oils with many bio-active chemicals, sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpenes hydrocarbons, while Euphorbia extracts contain secondary metabolites such as sesquiterpenes, diterpenes, sterols, flavonoids, and other polyphenols.
