'Dryopteris oligodonta' is not occurring in Poland! Native to Europe, particularly western and central Europe. Edible plant - young fronds which must be cooked; roots cooked. Herbal plant - roots contain ‘filicin’, a substance that paralyses tapeworms and other internal parasites and has been used as a worm expellent; the root is also used in the treatment of dandruff.
